Curriculum
Each classroom has planned activities geared to the interest and level of that particular age group. We provide a wide variety of activities to enhance each child’s opportunity to play and learn. We use the Creative Curriculum, which is based on the premise that the best way to teach young children is by using an appropriate environment as well as a planned appropriate schedule and positive teacher/child interactions. Lesson plans for class are presented to the director in advance and are posted outside of each classroom.

A typical Pre-k day:

Hope Preschool offers a selection of after-school enrichment programs, including classes in dance and sports. We also offer extended-day care until 3:30 p.m. for children who are 3 and potty trained.

Typical Schedules:
Hours: 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.1 year olds come 1 or 2 days a week.2 year olds come 2 or 3 days. 3 year olds come 2 or 3 days.3 1/2 year olds come 3 or 4 days.Pre-K children come 3, 4 or 5 days. Junior-K class is 5 days a week.
